The Southwest Houston Chapter of IAAP
The Southwest Houston Chapter (SWHC) is one of over 600 chapters worldwide and is located in the Westchase District of southwest Houston, Texas. Our members work and/or live in this area as well as Sugar Land, Stafford, Missouri City, Richmond, Rosenberg, and Alief. Membership in IAAP offers opportunities for personal and professional growth in advancing your career objectives.
Our chapter meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of every month. We hold our Holiday Social in December. Networking begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by a 1 hr program at 6:30 p.m. We welcome your interest. The International Association of Administrative Professionals is the world's premier organization for office administrative support staff. Its purpose is to elevate the standards of the profession through continuing education, authorized programs and publications, and certification. The Certified Professional Secretary® (CPS®) and Certified Administrative Professional® (CAP®) ratings are administered by the Institute of Certification of IAAP. It is also the sole sponsor of Administrative Professionals Week® held during the last full week in April with Wednesday being designated as Administrative Professionals Day®.
